In August 2024, Tahbib, in collaboration with its Japan team, organized a remarkable poetry event in Japan, with the legendary Javed Akhtar gracing the occasion as the chief guest. The evening featured a soul-stirring performance by a qawwali band and a standout segment where native Japanese poets recited their own Urdu poetry—an extraordinary highlight that captivated the audience. This cultural exchange, led by Tariq Faizi and the Tahbib Japan team, stood as a testament to the universal language of literature and the growing global love for Urdu poetry.
